Echoing sirens conjure up a tornado of sound and there you have the exalting intro to 'Hybrid'. Next comes a fresh splash into speedy dubstep, proving how mightily influential Dreadzone are, and then 'Hybrid' kicks off properly with an infectuous melody that towards the end turn to old skool dub. On the flip side of this twelve inch single, 'Friction' brings in a horn section or sample. It is much slower paced with the riddim having some nice slap and tickle and a very subtle riff of oriental music also helping out.
