Highly addictive guitar pop from former Tompaulin main man Jamie Holman's new project, the Fischers
Review
This is the first release by former Tompaulin main man Jamie Holman's new project, the Fischers.
‘Down the Days’ is an old Tompaulin song that the band didn’t nail on the head. It is joyful and summery with lots of jangly guitar and hope. It is a highly addictive guitar pop,a song to make you love life and everyone in it.
The B side is ‘After the Ice Storm’, which is more moody, acoustic rather than electric based and this time finds Jamie broken-hearted. Darren Hayman does this so well, but Jamie here is even more convincing and it is totally effective.
