36 Crazyfists are a post-hardcore/metalcore act who originate from Anchorage in Alaska.
The band, which formed in 1994, and which currently consists of singer Brock Lindow, guitarist Steve Holt, bassist Mick Whitney and drummer Steve Holt, are now based in Portland, Oregon and take their name from the Jackie Chan film '36 Crazy Fists'.
They have to date recorded four albums, 'In the Skin' (1997), 'Bitterness the Star' (2000), 'A Snow Capped Romance' (2004) and 'Rest Inside the Flames' (2006.
The group recently played an extensive 26 date British tour to promote 'rest Inside the Flames'. These photographs were shot by Katie Anderson exclusively for Pennyblackmusic at the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth on April 22nd.
