JJ72 - She's Gone

Label: Lakota
Format: 7"
Ultra limited comeback single from Irish trio JJ72, which has a much harder sound than their previous records

Review

Irish trio JJ72 return with a very limited 7 inch in black vinyl, of which a mere 500 copies are being released. 'She's Gone' has a harder sound than their previous records. The vocal are not so high pitched as usual. Musically the band have easily moved forward, but are carrying on their adventures in dark wave. 'Heat' , the B side, is even better, a much darker infusion, which is almost Goth like. Imagine Joy Division having kids who have formed a band, and you are there. It is near perfect, with its shimmering guitars and broody-as-hell bassline. It is a great return, if only a very limited one.

Track Listing:-

1 She's Gone
2 Heat
