Chuck - No, Not Ah!

Label: Sheffield Phonographic Corporation
Format: 7"
Spectaculary inventive debut single from new Sheffield band, which proves to be a "deliciously unlikely hybrid of skewed surf mayhem performed by a band of marauding Cossacks on holiday in Mexico"

Review

For those of you with longer memories Chuck have no connection at all to the band of the same name who were kicking around in the mid-90's and released a few singles on Fire Records. Hailing from Sheffield, this particular Chuck’s debut, their signature tune ‘No. Not Ah!’ is a deliciously unlikely hybrid of skewed surf mayhem performed by a band of marauding Cossacks on holiday in Mexico. One listen and you’ll know exactly what I mean. B-sides ‘Wetsuit’ and ‘Do The Math(emetics)’ are almost as equally out there. Permanently encapsulated on an appealingly heavyweight slab of blue vinyl – if you’re quick that is as this is a limited edition, this is a must have – simple as that.

Track Listing:-

1 No, Not Ah!
2 Wetsuit
3 Do The Math[ematics]
