Various - Ultimate 50s Rockin Sci Fi Disc

Label: Viper
Format: CD
"High octane rock 'n' roll boogie" from new cowboy and sci-fi inspired compilation on the Viper label

Review

'The Ultimate 50's Rockin'Sci-Fi Disc' is packed full of original high octane rock 'n roll boogie. The cover says it about all about this Viper compilation. The inspiration of cowboys finding metaphors in space exploration remains vivid throughout all these tracks. It's the wacky side, to say, 'The Right Stuff, as it includes 'Rocket In My Pocket' as a warm-up. Little green men taught these guys to rock and it must have been true mania back then as 'The Ultimate 50's Rockin'Sci-Fi Disc' is a 20-track ball. Shakin' that asteroid all night long, these guys must have had NASA batteries in their libido's. You get lonesome howling wolves stuck in space. Ghostriders of the sky include Jackie Fantharee on 'First Man On Mars' and Butch Paulson who's cute as a man from Mars. Great fun.
