The latest release by Canadian multi-award-winning musician Bryan Adams, a 3 CD/ 4 LP Vinyl set (each with a bonus Blu-Ray disc capturing all three shows), is a compilation of the star’s live three-night appearances at London’s Royal Albert Hall in May 2024, with Adams playing a full different album at each show (‘Reckless’, 1984; '18 Til I Die’,1996; ‘So Happy It Hurts’, 2022). This was the second three-night residency by Adams at the iconic venue, a special place to perform in his eyes: “I love the RAH, there’ s something magical about the place, I can imagine we’ll be playing there for years to come” . ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall 2024’ contains an array of well-known hits as well as the surprise inclusion of songs such as ‘Reckless’, ‘Let Me Down Easy’, which did not feature on the original albums, a spirit of onstage camaraderie and joy in performing pervading them all. Highlights of the thirty-six-track collection include: an expressive rendition of ‘Run To You’ with its trademark raw energy; timeless, emotive ballad and fan favourite ‘Heaven’; the manic ‘Ain’t Gonna Cry’; the euphoric anthem ‘Summer Of ‘69’; rocking '18 Til I Die’; the sparse, acoustic ‘You’re Still Beautiful To Me’; the mellow ‘You Lift Me Up’ with the inspired addition of the London Community Gospel Choir; edgy rocker ‘I Ain’t Worth Shit Without You’; and the final track, the atmospheric, contemplative ‘These Are The Moments That Make Up My Life’. Coming out ahead of a world tour, ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall 2024’ is an effervescent blend of nostalgia and reinvention, bound to resonate with Adams fans worldwide.
