Infamous for their 1996 no. 1 single 'Firestarter' and the following year's controversial no. 8 hit 'Smack My Bitch Up', dance/electronic rock outfit the Prodigy combine dark, offbeat humour with a sinisterness.
THe group, which formed in 1990 and still features from its original line-up keyboardist and songwriter Liam Howlett, MC and vocalist Maxim and dancer and vocalist Keith Flint, have had massive success with six of their seven albums including the much acclaimed 'Music for the Jilted Generation' (1994) and 'The Fat of the Land' (1997) as well as this year's 'No Tourists' all reaching no. 1.
These photographs were taken on a date on a stadium tour at the Leeds Direct First Arena on the 13th November, and capture much of the band's power and eccentricity.
