Peggy Sue are an indie/folk pop band from Brighton, who have toured with Jack White, the Maccabees and Mumford and Sons.
Originally called Peggy Sue and the Pirates, the group, a trio consisting of Rosa Slade, Katy Young and Olly Joyce, first formed in 2005. They shortened their name to Peggy Sue in 2008, and have now recorded three studio albums, 'Fossils and Other Phantoms'(Wichita/Yep Roc 2010), 'Acrobats' (Wichita/Yep Roc) and this year's 'Choir of Echoes' (Yep Roc).
They group, who have won much acclaim for their strong harmonies, spent April touring 'Choir of Echoes'. These photographs were taken by Bill Gray on April 10th at a show at Broadcast in Glasgow.
