Matt photographs post-hardcore super-group Freeze The Atlantic at their first show with new singer Liv Puente at The Bull and Gate in London
Article
Freeze The Atlantic started out in 2008 with the simple aims of making rock music and enjoying making rock music.
The group, a post-hardcore super-group, released its debut album, ‘Speakeasy’, last October to much acclaim. Unfortunately, however, they lost their singer Chris J. Knott later that month when he had to bow out because of his commitments to his regular group, Twelve Titans.
This is, however, something, as these photographs from Matt Williams reveal, that Freeze The Atlantic have bounced back from. The band, which also includes Andy Gilmour (Hundred Reasons) on guitar, Tom Stevens (Archie and the Instincts) on second guitar and Sean Shreeve (Spectrum 7/Talking Endlessly) on bass, recruited a month later into their line-up Liv Puente (Laruso), who had appeared on guest vocals on ‘Speakeasy’. The photographs show the new line-up on exuberant form at their first show at The Bull and Gate in London on January 8th.
