Air Formation - Things That Don't Exist/Fires

Label: Distant Noise
Format: CDS
Lush-sounding new single from Brighton-based shoegazing act, Air Formation, which makes perfect late night listening

Review

Brighton's Air Formation and one-time Pennyblackmusic Bands Night stars return with two great new tracks. This is the debut vinyl release from the Bristol based label, Distant Noise, which normally limits itself with each new item in its catalogue to just 100 CDRs. 'Things That Don't Exist' recalls the Chameleons second album, 'What Does Anything Mean ? Basically', with its lush drums and dreamy guitar. Singer Matt Bartram's vocals are haunting and take you on a journey. This is perfect late night music to dream too. 'Fires' starts off sounding a little like the Cure's 'A Forest', before drifting off into a slow trance-like pace. Eventually guitars and loud drums make their presence known and by the end of the track Air Formation are making a noise that early Ride would be proud of.

Track Listing:-

2 Fires
