Review
'Never Gonna Get Away' start with a groove based around Matt James' drums and Mike Buchanan's deep bass line while Ed Bannard's vocal just slips inside of you while a sexy Hammond organ hums in the background. Steve Mason's guitars are meanwhile as massive as massive can be. The whole song just grabs you by the balls, and from here it just holds you in its rhythm and makes you want to dance and to celebrate the best thing in life itself.
The B side of this 7 inch and download only single is 'Lonely Feeling', which is, as its title implies, more moody, and has a spooky guitar vibe.The drums and bass meanwhile add depth to Ed's vocal.
Just perfect ! Single of the year without doubt !
