Supergrass - St Petersburg

Label: Parlophone
Format: CDS
Elegant and entertaining first single from ‘Road to Rouen’, the fifth album from long-serving Britpoppers Supergrass

Review

‘St Petersburg’ is the first single from ‘Road to Rouen’, the fifth album from long-serving Britpoppers Supergrass. There is both a vocal and instrumental version. The track is pretty much Supergrass unplugged. It finds them stripped of their smugness and has more of a grown up edge and chucks in a bit of seriousness for good measure. It is both elegant and charming

Track Listing:-

1 St. Petersburg
2 Kiss Of Life (Live)
3 Bullet (Live)

Nick Dent-Robinson watches Supergrass back after a decade away play a set of classic anthems to an enthusiastic crowd at the Alexandra Palace in London.
