Miscellaneous - Magic J

Spencer Robertshaw, in his 'Evidently Spencertown' poetry column, writes about romance and falling in love

Article

Light shines from your eyes in the darkest day It keeps me heading the right way Take the pissing rain and turn it to the sun Take a broken stride into a run A sense of peace is within your realms A captain strives many ships helms To search and find what must be love Is it earthen or from above? You make my feet continue to move And keep on so no matter the groove I wish I could bottle a single second And hold it near when trouble beckons I could write a million words Prose that goes to different worlds But every time it comes back to you A beautiful form from a single seed grew There's no way to end these words Not enough language in any world So leave it open I must do Perhaps it will grow like my love for you
