Broadcaster - Folksploitation

Label: Red Grape Records
Format: CD
Unconvincing electronica from British dance producer Broadcaster which, despite involving American folk legend Petty Seeger, proves predictable and dull

Review

Ouch, 'Folksploitaton' made a painful listen. The bland blend of quasi contemporary dance tracks reaches toe-cringing lows. You may enjoy this in the way you enjoy 'The Muppet Show' or say the coy dance pop of Cuban Boys - where have they gone? Setting a new standard in predictability , the beats are bluntly boring. If only 'Folksploitation' was recorded for CBB, would it matter just a bit. The soundtrack for when you get stuck en route from Slough to Swindon. The bass lines will probably rumble in sync with the noises from the motorway.
