The James Cleaver Quintet in fact has only four members and nobody called James Cleaver in the band.
The group, who are a hardcore act from Kent, have become renowned for the intensity of their live shows, and have been described and sounding like “a mental breakdown set to music.”
The band have to date released an EP, ‘Ten Stages of a Make Up’ (2010), and an album, ‘That Was Then, This is Now’ (2011).
The group have recently toured with their fellow hardcore act Safety Fire, and these photographs capture the band’s uncompromising stage presence at a show at the O2 Academy in Liverpool .
