Review

These rattlers from Sheffield University embark on a career way different from an academic one. Under a three minute spell, Seize The Chair breath new life into Britpop and almost help us to forget Bloc Party and alike. It's the revenge from the North on 'It Happens Periodically' - a complex pop tune that would sooner feature on an album from Probe Plus in Liverpool. The other side is extremely catchy with a rumbling riff and 'ooh ooh' harmony vocals that indeed rhyme with 'You Who'. Seize The Chair may at long last prove to be Too Pure's answer to chart biggies White Arctic Ferdinand Strokes.
