With summer on its way, Spencer Robertshaw in 'Evidently Spencertown' reflects in 'Bloody' upon a typical British summertime day
Article
The bloody sun is bloody hot
The pollen gives you bloody snot
The bloody ice creams bloody melt
Is that your feet I bloody smelt?
The bloody dogs are off their lead
The bloody kids all bloody feed
On bloody pop and bloody crisps
The bloody bogs all smell of this
And bloody that and this
Bloody washing on the line
Twat next door, it's barbecue time
Burning bloody chicken legs
Get the washing off them pegs!
Bloody Beatles here comes the sun
Bloody noses run and run
Hayfever here, hayfever there, hayfever bloody everywhere
Bloody better make the most
Brown and wrinkled, look like toast
Bloody blokes are on the pull
Bloody pubs are bloody full
Get that bloody top back on
Bloody tattoos all spelt wrong
Happy days all in the sun
Bloody English having fun
