Fiery debut single from exciting new group the Sea

Review

There was a time where you had to be a good looking boy to be in a band ,but when that goose was worked to death the ‘Plastic punk, alternative bands’ like Busted and Good Charlotte quickly followed, but thankfully they have not dented the charts too much. Lurking in the background were bands who only cared about the music who did not care about labels, deals, dance routines, money markets, corporate speak or having the right designer label, but who played for the love of the music The Sea, which features brothers Peter and Alex Chisholm, live to play their guitars at volume 11 at the sweatiest gigs judging by this debut single. Tt cranks up with rough guitar that would not be out of place in a Wildhearts set. In ever sense of the word this is a traditional rock song which boarders on the glam rock of Marc Bolan's guitar sound. It’s rough, basic, fast and has more attitude than a thirteen year kid called Kevin and with lines like "She walks like a reptile and she thrills me all night long" you can’t help but love this single. Tt’s three minutes of rock heaven. Listen to it and love it as much as I do.
