REM - And I Feel Fine.....The Best Of The IRS Years 82-87 Collector's Edition

Compilation album from REM, hand picked by the band, of their music from 1982 to 1987 and which comes in both a single and double edition CD

Review

Peter Buck, Mike Mills, Michael Stipe and Bill Berry have been in my life since 1984. This new album, which appears in a single and double disc reflects that happy time. The whole of the double CD was chosen by the band , which has really just come out for the Christmas market as there isn't a new album this year. The single disc, which is also the first disc of the double, will not be essential to most REM hardcore fans as they will have everything on it already. The second disc of the double, however, has more to offer for the hardcore as it features 11 unreleased tracks, which comprise of demos, outtakes and live recordings. Much as I love everything they have ever done, this period was their best and. in additional to this, there is a seperate DVD collection which collects every UK live TV appearance they made during this period, all of which were recorded on video when that was in its infancy. There is also some rare US footage too. A perfect Christmas present for the guy or girl in your family with taste !
