Five O'Clock Heroes - White Girls

Label: Remote Control
Format: CDS
Catchy second single from half British, half American indie guitar band the Five O' Clock Heroes

Review

The Five O’Clock Heroes are four lads, two from Britain and two from America. Their second single 'White Girls' follows on well from the first single 'Head Games' and has a similarly catchy tune and jangly guitar riffs. Frontman Antony Ellis' vocals sound something like The Clash's Joe Strummer, and the single has that kind of 70’s punk rock feel to it. The B side is a lively track as well and starts off with a strong guitar riff. Their forthcoming as-yet-untitled album is definitely one to look out for. The Five O’Clock Heroes fit nicely in with the current indie pop trends while also adding their own spark.

Track Listing:-

1 White Girls
2 Skin Deep

Bend To The Breaks (2006)
Long awaited debut album which lives up to all expectations from Anglo-American band Five O’Clock Heroes, whose influences include American indie punk bands and also both classic British groups such as the Clash and the Jam and recent bands like the Futureheads
