Finn Brothers - Edible Flowers

Label: Parlophone
Format: CDS
Mature classic-sounding pop from Neil and Tim Finn, former stars with Split Enz and Crowded House

Review

Both Neil and Tim Finn are very gifted songwriters, having fronted solo careers, Split Enz and Crowded House. 'Edible Flowers' is mature pop, delivered with a classy rhythm, in a style that would suit a great Lennon and McCartney tune or something by Squeeze. 'Six Months in a Leaky Boat (Live)' is an oldie revisited in a concert setting. It has very singalong lyrics, has your foot tapping, in no time at all and even has live whistling that stays in tune before it goes into full out rocking. Sadly it ends with 'Tell Me C'mon' which is reasonable enough, but is standard B side fodder.

Track Listing:-

1 Edible Flowers (Radio Edit)
2 Six Months In A Leaky Boat (Live From Music Max, Australia)
3 Tell Me C'Mon
