Dave Gahan - I Need You

Label: Mute Records
Format: CDS
"Chilled out" second single from Depeche Mode frontman's debut solo album

Review

This single comes in 2 formats on CD, one which features remixes, and the other which features a radio remix and also 2 new songs, 'Closer' and 'Breathe'. 'I Need You' is the second single from Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan's first solo album, 'Paper Monsters'. While Martin Gore writes all the songs in Depeche Mode, Dave has penned all of 'Paper Monsters' by himself. The whole of 'I Need You' sounds great, and this comes from someone who has hated Depeche Mode ever since their 1981 'New Life' single. It is very mature and chilled out and has just enough instrumentation to let the music breathe. With songs this good, I think Depeche Mode need Dave Gahan more than he needs them.

Track Listing:-

1 I Need You (Ladytron Detoxxmixx)
2 Gabriel And Dresden Unplugged Mix
3 Jay's Summerdub
