Review

Wolf are an instrumental outfit from North West London and their debut 'Rocket Science' is mightily impressive. If you are looking for reference points then ENO's 'Another Green World' is as good a place as any to draw comparisons. Pretty melodic atmospheres with depth and originality. The production and arrangements are challenging yet immediately rewarding. Despite its hazy demeanour this is, however, way too disciplined and powerful to be dismissed as stoner music. Some recommended titles include the seagull driven 'Out There, Somewhere', the eerie title track and the melodious drift of 'General View of the World' although the entire ten tracks deserve to be heard in one sitting. This is one of those releases that truly deserves to be heard by a wider audience. Impressive.

2 General View Of The World
