'The most exciting collection ever made' Spanish label 'Elefant' brazenly describe their 'Casablanca' compilation as on its front cover, and several members of the Pennyblackmusic team would undoubtedly agree with this. An album that has made its way into nearly every one's home collections, 'Casablanca' is electronic music with a European heart, and with lyrics being sung in English, French, and Spanish, it has a distinctively international flavour. Several performers from the Elefant stable-'Le Mans', Ana D, 'Telefilme' and 'The Future Bible Heroes' -appear alongside some of the very best acts of the British independent scene-'Momus', 'The Divine Comedy, Brian and 'Jack' .
