The original version of this track taken from Decimal's 'Lost In A Dark Place' album is now available just as the Soma label turns 20! Hurray for those who brought us such fine smashes as 'Around The World' first.
Elegantly uncategorizable, these decimated dance tracks fall halfway between nodding house and stripped to the bone techno. Too abstract to be labelled house and too one-dimensional for tech knobheads. Dustin Zahn's bundle of different versions get underway with his first remix, the Monolith Remix, upon which 'Ghost' is spread apart.
The flip side, 'Tethys' culminates in a psychotic whirlpool but this single is too smart to capture in words. Intoxicating and addictive, the beats of 'Ghost' and 'Tethys' do not wear out.
