Enjoyable 60's beatnik pop on reissue of Creation Records' owner Alan McGee's band Biff Bang Pow!'s 1987 single
Review
'The Whole World's Turning Brouchard' was originally released by Alan McGee's band Biff Bang Pow! on Creation Records in 1987 and has now been reissued on Edition 59 Records.
The title track has one hell of a groove and is instrumental 60's beatnik pop all wrapped up in a few minutes and exciting as it should be. 'The Death of England', it soriginal B side, is a post punk track with a 60's flavour.
'Sleep', an extra track, is an acoustic reading of a Peter Astor song and is a perfect tribute to the Weather Prophets, another of the Creation Records of that era and whom remain a greatly missed act.
