Sound Team - Born To Please

Label: Select Label
Format: CDS
Catchy art pop on second single from their new album 'Movie Monster' for Austin six piece the Sound Team

Review

‘Born to Please’ is the second single from Austin six piece’s the Sound Team.It is catchy with a lyric as sexy as early Franz Ferdinand and is as sweet as honey on a sunny day. ‘No More Birthdays (Phil Spector folk, San Francisco Bay, early morning, 1849)' has a more folky sound than the album version. It is a sing-a-long number and singer Matt Oliver sounds very much like John Lennon in the early Beatles days when it was still fun. ‘Movie Monster (Wide Open space of Big Orange)' again recalls Lennon , but is a lot more experimental.

Track Listing:-

1 Born To Please
2 No More Birthdays (Phil Spector Folk) / San Francisco Bay, Early Morning, 1849
3 "Movie Monster" (Wide Open Space Of Big Orange)
