‘Sweet Troubled Star’ is the first single from Stellastarr’s new second album ‘Harmonies for the Haunted’. It sounds instantly familiar with singer Shawn Christensen ’s Gothic vocals sounding like the Cult’s Ian Astbury in his heyday. The near perfect 80’s style backing sounds very fashionable and very now, The guitar solo is one for to wave and punch you fist in the air too, and, as it moves along, it comes across as sounding like a cross between early U2 and the Mission. It is good to have them back.
