New single from Nottingham-based indiepop act, Airport Girl, which finds them changing directions and experimenting with both violins and reggae
Review
Nottingham's Airport Girl return with this very different 7 inch.
The A side, 'Salinger Wrote' is like a grunged up Pastels. There are moments when it features violins, but, at other times, it is quiet and lovely. With all its changes in tempo, it really does give the record player a good seeing too in its few minutes of spinning time.
The B side I think is even better. An instrumental, it sounds like the soundtrack to a late 70's BBC2 documentary soundtrack on Portobello Market. It has a very weird 70's reggae vibe and is really quite brilliant.
