Arctic Monkeys - Photoscapes

Marie Hazelwood photographs Arctic Monkeys at the Manchester Arena on their latest UK tour.

Article

Arctic Monkeys toured the UK in September to promote their sixth album and first record in five years 'Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino', which came out on Domino Records in May. A concept record, it was written by frontman Alex Turner on the piano in his home in Los Angeles and is set on an imaginary luxury hotel at Tranquility Base, the site of the 1969 Moon landing. These photographs of Alex Turner were taken exclusively for Pennyblackmusic by Marie Hazelwood on September 7th at the second of two dates at the Manchester Arena.
