Article

The Adicts, who are originally from Ipswich, were of the most popular punk rock bands of the 1980s. The group is known for its "droog" image, which sees its musicians wear all-white clothing with black bowler hats, and singer Keith "Monkey" Warren wear joker make-up and checkerboard or polka dot suits. The group's music has an upbeat sound and their lyrics are often tongue-in cheek. Their stage shows often find them using streamers and confetti and involved in magic tricks These photographs of the Adicts and Keith Warren were taken on a recent tour by Andrew Twambley at the Manchester Ritz on the 30th June.
