With over 14 million albums sold, and multiple JUNO Awards and Grammy nominations, Canadian rockers Barenaked Ladies released their fifteenth studio album, ‘Fake Nudes’, in November of last year.
The group, which first formed in 1988 as a duo, currently consists of founder member Ed Robertson (guitar, vocals), and his other long-term band mates Jim Creggan (bass, vocals), Kevin Hearn (keyboard, guitar, vocals) and Tyler Stewart (drums, vocals).
Barenaked Ladies are currently on a world tour to promote ‘Fake Nudes’, and played eight dates in the UK in April.
These photographs of Barenaked Ladies were taken by new Pennyblackmusic photographer Andrew Twambley on the second of these dates on April 19th at the Ritz in Manchester, and capture their humour, camaraderie and musicianship.
