Review
So, here is the beginning of a band. This is the first piece of music the New Faith have ever put out and let me tell you it is darn good.
The frontman is Will Charlton and he has been described as having "lacquered vocals." They are reminiscent of Morrissey's with his emotional turmoil, Bowie’s delicate flamboyance and Bryan Ferry with his sharp sartorial standards, and convey an array of innate emotion. That's a tall order and big boots to fill. But by the sound of it they have more choice tunes just like this to fill their soon-to-be-released debut album, which has been produced by Dave Izumi at Echo Zoo. The New Faith have a hypnotically British sound and is the product of small town dreams, failure, control and loss. Welcome back the beguiling sound of Brit pop and welcome the New Faith! Hurrah!
