Review
The Magnettes hail from Pajala in North Sweden, and are soon to be the main subjects in a new documentary, 'Pajala: State of Mind'. The band consists of Rebecka Digervall and Sanna Kalla. who grew up together.
'Sore Feet and Heartbeats' will appeal to true pop fans. Think of Erasure and Kylie. This has summer hit written all over it. It is simple and pleasant electronica. Not much happens, but enough to make this this very cool indeed.
'Paper Cut' was originally released in 2012. It has more of a trendy, upbeat groove. The kids will love this as a song to jump up and down too and it will annoy parents, despite being really catchy.
'Who We Are' recalls the Cardigans at their most commercial. It is like the rest of this EP feel happy poppy music for non musos.
'Sore Feets and Heartbeats' will hopefully do really well.
