Magik Markers' prima donna, Elisa Ambrogio has gone solo with this debut solo album. It, however, has none of the defining moments that you might have expected from an album with this title. Her twang chords continue to linger on, resounding her rather wild escapades. The songs timidly, however, lack any sense of song structure, but Elisa soldiers on, trying to lift them onto higher grounds. 'The Immoralist' lacks sense and direction and proves a tough challenge. Amazingly dull. B minus. After repeated listens, even down to C minus.
