The Tea Street Band are a left wing and political dance rock group from Liverpool whose music has been described as "a bastard mutilation that in its most extreme combines 808 State with Doves and the gang mentality of The Happy Mondays."
The group have already had local hits with their two previous singles, 'Fiesta' and 'Summer Dreaming'. Their third single, 'Disco Lights', will be released on the 24th September.
Marie Hazelwood took these photographs of the Tea Street Band at a local gig at the Zanzibar club on the 25th August.
