Marie Hazelwood takes photographs of young Southport-based indie guitar band the Red Room at the recording session for their debut EP, 'Lifeline'
Article
The Red Room are a young indie guitar band from Southport near Liverpool, which, centring around Paul Flanagan (vocals and lead guitar) and Harry Sherriff (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), formed last year.
The group have just released their seven song debut EP ‘Lifeline’ through Soundcloud www.soundcloud.com/redroomthe. The group have a muscular, but easy-on-the ear sound which have drawn them comparisons with acts as diverse as REM, the Beautiful South and the Strokes.
These photographs were taken by Marie Hazelwood at the recording session for ‘Lifeline’, which took place in June.
