Indescriptably lovely joint dub album between Copenghagen-based musician Rumpistol and the Red Baron from Los Angeles
Review
Spread apart by oceans, this smooth endeavour nonetheless links Copenhagen to Los Angeles. The fluid Rumpistol dubstep riddims, also called liquid funk, meet the fluent wording of the Red Baron, and as the deep grooves, breezy and funky, melt with Red Baron's soulful vocals, the words nearly resemble the beats.
LA expat Red Baron, born a Dane like Jens 'Rumpistol' Christiansen, manipulates his own vocals, twisting the pitch in the proces. The Red Baron's soul searching matches in perfect harmony Rumpistol's mystery touch. These stretches of dubby wisdom combined with rhythmic elegance, rock the boat ever so gently. Indescriptably lovely!
