Effective first single in three years from London-based guitar two-piece, Deathline
Review
London based band Deathline band first put out their first release back in 2009, and this is their first new material since then, The band consists of Kaoru Sato on guitar and vocals and Jennie Werlemar on bass and vocals. Jennie is Swedish born, while Kauro is of Japanese origin.
'Ten of Clubs' starts off sounding an 80's alternative rock number before it becomes much more industrial and like a more orchestrated Black Rebel Motorcycle Club backed by a savage backing band. It instantly has you moshing away to it's simple but effective rock 'n' roll. It is pretty basic stuff really, but it works well.
