‘Chilly Teeth’ is the latest EP from 23 year old Taunton-based singer-songwriter, Sofi Reed. ‘Break My Fall’ kicks off this EP, which has a slowed down sound reminiscent of Mazzy Star, and a vocal from Sofi that is as chilled out as Norah Jones. ‘Landslide’ is a stripped down and sweet-sounding acoustic number, while ‘Breathe’ has a big and bass-driven sound and is almost like dance music. It ends with ‘Sing Along’ which again is acoustic. Sofi sounds on it like a female Neil Young in her style and direction. Excellent late night pop!
