Excellent single from upcoming new album for house act Let's Go Outside, the project of Stephen Schieberl, a Portland, oregon-based musician
Review
Transient house beats with, along the way, remixes from Rico Casazza and Oliver Deutschmann toss up the first glances for Let's Go Outside upcoming album. Deep, spacey and persistent, 'Machismo' is sophisticatedly smooth with echoing mellotron keys on its original version.
Next, when the Deutschmann comes along remixing 'Machismo', things tend to get edgy and get slightly out of hand. Big beats pump up and down as if there's no saviour to be reckoned with. Club house takes over here, yet comes to an abrupt finish. Following next, the Rico Casazza edit delves deeper into ancient Detroit grounds. The complex Let's Go Outside patterns develop as if micro house has gone macro. Subterranean glows and fat burning exercises finish the job.
Ultimately, 'Machismo' is an excellent teaser for a long anticipated album and it urges to Let's Go Outside!
