Worthy vinyl-only split single, shared between Lewisham-based band the Shills and Bury St Edmunds group Ten City Nation
Review
This split single has been released on Repeat Records which is both a label and a Manic Street Preachers-based fanzine.
Lewisham-based band the Shills perform ‘Gunshot’ which is jangly and fast like a punky Idlewild or REM.
Bury St Edmunds three-piece Ten City Nation have two tracks here, which are the first two tracks on their new album, ‘Flashing Lights’ has a raw, grunge style. ‘Silent Disco’ is the better of the two tracks here. It is more full-on in sound and, better developed, recalls the Rakes’ 22 Grand Job.
Worthy of your ears’ attention!
