Stalkers - In Your Street/Feral Children

Label: One Little Indian
Format: CDS
Scruffy, but decent-sounding garage rock from hit and miss New York-based five-piece the Stalkers

Review

The Stalkers follow their scrappy long-player ‘Yesterday Is No Tomorrow’ with the grungy singalong stomp of ‘In your Street’. The single is rounded out by ‘Feral Children’ which sounds like a tune Alice Cooper rejected for ‘School’s Out’ as too scruffy. The near-dub echo of the bridge is a charming discursion of the sort too often ignored by the usual garage rock crowd. It’s a decent combo for fans of bands like Slaughter and The Dogs.

Track Listing:-

1 In Your Street Today
2 Feral Children

Yesterday is No Tomorrow (2007)
Appealing, if somewhat monotonous-sounding 70's-influenced punk on debut album from New York-based group the Stalkers
