Shallow collection of demos from Eidolon, the former 90's band of Glen and Shaun Drover who both now play in Megadeth, and which proves to be "mainly material for completists"
Review
E-I-D-OL, EIDO, EIDOLON, got it finally. Don’t ever listen to a band whose name you can’t pronounce.
This one comes with a promo slip saying ‘Glen and Shaun Drover are now in Megadeth’. I’m reminded of those warning labels on cigarette packing telling people that smoking will harm you, but at least smoking is addictive and will kill you in the end, unlike this pretentious pile of shit.
Thank God for the Pixies, Jane’s Addiction and Nirvana for giving pieces of shit like this their marching orders.
With their widdly widdly guitars solos and annoying vocals you’d think the 90's just didn’t come around for these guys. The track 'Forbidden Lair' is basically a rip off of Slayer’s 'Dead Skin Mask' while the rest of it is a just a shallow rip off of just about every other big name metal band. Thankfully this is the band demo material recorded back in 1995. If you’re a fan of this band, secretly or otherwise, this is mainly material for completists.
