Midget's main asset is their ability to produce catchy tunes. This prominent feature simply couldn't fail to liven up even the most miserable of souls.Even though their music sounds simple and seems to lack depth due to a continuous level in pitch, alternating vocal genres keeps it alive.
The B-side "Acoustic" deceives by its title. It is about as acoustic as it is hot in the North Pole. The vocals are deliberately flat in many places and form a basis for an excellent track. Both sides compliment each other brilliantly, both including the Midget charm of pop-style merriment. It is impossible not to get sucked into Midget's world of cheerfulness as a result
Although most Midget material sounds very similar these are certainly songs that will grow on you the more they are heard. 'Artwork' is not a masterpiece but it is a good effort and very enjoyable nonetheless.
