Fucked Up - The Chemistry of Common Life

Label: Matador Records
Format: CD
Fuse-blowing speed metal punk on powerful second album from abrasive Canadian hardcore group, F**ked Up

Review

From their Canadian homebase, the band Fucked Up dishes out a blistering noise and a powerful string of tunes. 'The Chemistry Of Common Life' grabs together cherished moments of late 1970's to early twenty-first loud melodic punk. Fucked Up were alloted quite a few years though, going on since 2001. Punk rock music gets one mighty injection. Blowing fuses as if it's a daily business, Fucked Up rush through speed metal with an equal ease to how the Ramones and Faith No More once went about their respective businesses. You might have thought Matador Records smelled a bit wee and funny recently but rest assured that they are wonderfully fucked up again. Did I use the f-word there ? Sorry.
