Guile - Love Around Here

Label: Guilemusic
Format: CDS
Dark, but appealing new single from rising Black Country group Guile who sound like the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with the Icicle Works' Ian McNabb on vocals

Review

Guile come from the Black Country and the music on their new single completely grips my soul. It is dark, moving and even spiritual, sounding like the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with the Icicle Works' Ian McNabb on vocals. Frontman Neil Sawyer’s vocals are so much like McNabb in the mid 80’s that it is easy to see why, as a massive McNabb fan, this band blew me away live and that I relish every note which I have heard from them to date. Live, the audience didn't know what to make of them. Perhaps you just have to live a little to be able the darker side of music. The B side, ‘The Horizon’,is darker still coming over like a slow moody Spacemen 3 or early non feedbacking Jesus and Mary Chain. Perfect !

Track Listing:-

1 Love Around Here
2 The Horiszon
