There is very little information on-line about this creepy-sounding band For Kings and Queens other than they are from Germany. This four track EP appears on three inch CD and like all of the releases on Edition 59 records it has just 59 copies.
'Intro', which is orchestral in sound and strings-based, opens the EP. It is cinematic in sound and like like the music in a horror film, where you know something wicked is about to happen but you are not sure what. When the vocals kick in, they have an eching sound. The whole feel of this track is like you have been locked and lost in a tunnel with a mad man on the loose.
'Sun' is again total horror film material. 'Reverb Drone' lasts over seven minutes 23 seconds and another sinister-sounding track is quite slow until the very end.
'Outro' ends the ep and is also like the soundtrack to a dream or rather a nightmare. It is echoing, a sound inside your head, An alarm clock waking you up from a tiresome sleep
Eerie stuff!
