The most recent gossip studio album was released this week on kill rock stars
(4/5 kerrang etc), this live album is the perfect companion release. The
gossip injectedthe olympia riot grrrl, queercore and punk seen with a healthy
dose of primal blues and the righteous gospel of their arkansas roots.
Recorded in a single night at new york’s knitting factory in july 2002. 10
tracks in all with a frenetic stoges cover at the end where they are joined on
stage by chromatics. This is a band at their best, live, and following on from
the killer reaction to the new studio album, this will further strengthen their
fanbase.
